Digital Flat Panel (DFP)

Used on digital flat panel monitors. Standard by DFP Group (Leader: Compaq) Protocol: PanelLink (TDMS)
Based on existing P&D standard. DDC is used for communication between video card and monitor. Unlike P&D, it doesn't support analogue signals. Adopted by VESA in 1999.
Only few Compaq products and ATI video cards were manufactured. Since it uses TDMS, it can be compatible with DVI using the right adapter.
